Designed Objects and the Chicago community brings together designers, makers, educators and curators to one space to consider the place of contemporary design objects outside of the museums to exhibit work and dialogue together and with new audiences in downtown Hyde Park. To consider the range of designed objects from fashion to furniture can play a leading role in helping create place, story-telling, increasing job markets in communities that need it, problem solving and vibrant functions such as this event.
